Hi, my name is Lauren and I have been studying HNC Sound Production at Perth UHI part time over two years. My main interest is producing (mostly) electronic music although through my studies I hope to obtain a career in the industry. This is a portfolio containing all my work, everything I've learned at uni and a showcase/reflection of some of my finished home projects.

About Me
I have been crazy about music all of my life. I grew up surrounded by everything from 1960's and 70's rock to classic 80's music, pop (in particular, Madonna, thanks to my fabulous uncle), hiphop, trip hop, punk, grunge, metal, indie and every kind of dance music imaginable.

I started out playing the guitar when I was 20, writing my own music as well as doing open mics. After a few years I got bored of the guitar and got massively into electronic music, starting out with a pair of decks then eventually buying synths and drum machines.
At age 28 after overcoming a serious illness I decided I should do something with my life so I decided to study.
At almost 31, I'm still here, and I want to further my abilities in music production, possibly achieve a degree and make a career out of something that I love.
